Vastu Tips for Kitchen
The kitchen should ideally be located in the house’s Agnisthaan (South-East) zone. Vayu kona, or the north-west zone, is the second-best position.
When cooking, the gas burner stove should be positioned in the Agni kona (South-East zone) of the kitchen, and the chef should face the Poorav disha (East zone).
The Uttar disha (North zone), Eshanya kona (North-East zone), or Poorav disha (East zone) of the kitchen should have the sink, water filter, or pitcher (also called a “matka”).
Along with the heaters, the microwave oven, tandoor, and toaster should be situated on the kitchen’s Agni kona (South-East zone) or Dakshin disha (South zone).
On the Dakshin disha (South zone) and Paschim disha (West zone), place the refrigerator, large kitchen cupboards, and other appliances.
Keep your broom (also known as “jhadoo”) upright.
The washing machine, dishwashing machine, clothes dryer, and dustbin can be virtually isolated, corrected, or cut off from the surrounding area by placing color tape around the machine area or by attaching extra-thick copper, brass, or aluminum patties (click here, here, or here, depending on the zone) to the floor level (around the machine area). The dimensions of the Extra Thick Metal Patti / Strip are 1.2 mm thick by 20 mm wide.
Clutter should not be allowed to accumulate in the kitchen’s northeast corner. Never place gas burner, heaters, conventional ovens, micro-waves ovens etc. in the Eshanya Kona (North East zone).
Keep the sink, water matka, and water purifier as far away from the gas burner (fire element) as possible (water element). Make sure water bottles are kept away from the gas burner as well.
Avert grey or black granite for your kitchen’s platform and tiles.
Steer clear of blue laminate or kitchenware in a kitchen, especially if it is located in the south or southeast.
The Shaan PavitramNever build a kitchen in the home’s Brahmasthan (Central), Nairuti Kona (South-West), Uttar disha (North), or Eshanya Kona (North-East). Place a Sthaan Pavitram (click here) on a shelf beneath the gas hob or stove if the gas burner is “not” on the eastern side or if the kitchen is “not” in the south-east, south-south-east, or north-west zones.
A green marble piece should be placed beneath the gas stove burner zone if it is located in the property’s North, Northeast, East, or West zones.
Place a piece of yellow jaisalmer stone + Sthaan Pavitram (click here) under the gas hob burner if it is located in the South-South-West, South-West, West-South-West, West, or West-North-West zone of the property.
Knives and other pointed items should be kept in a secure, enclosed area. Don’t expose them.
Kitchen mirrors are said to be unlucky. Avoid installing them as they may repeat negative energy.
